VISC is proud to announce the addition of the most experienced insurance and risk management team serving the California veterinary profession. After a decades-long affiliation with the CVMA, these insurance professionals bring over 75 years combined experience to VISC. Mark Maeyama's insurance career has been dedicated to working with the CVMA and its members since 1977. He began as an employee benefits representative for the CVMA's insurance program, and became a licensed insurance broker in 1982. Mark has held the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation since 1985. Art Cruz began his insurance career in 1977 with the CVMA's endorsed insurance carrier. He became a licensed insurance broker in 1983, continuing through the present to work with the CVMA and its members. For the past ten years, Art has served on the board of the Animal Health Foundation. Art also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Kathy Noe entered the insurance field while still in high school. She obtained her insurance license in 1979 and joined the CVMA's endorsed insurance brokerage firm in 1985. Kathy holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management ( ARM) designations. VISC is excited to welcome this team of seasoned veterinary insurance specialists.
